Asphalt Emulsion. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of same, to waive irregularities and/or informalities in bids and to make the award in whole or in part as may appear to be in the best interests of the Lenawee County Road Commission and Lenawee County. Sealcoat material is to be delivered at 165-degree application rate to various job sites in Lenawee County. Tack material to be delivered to Adrian yard site located at 2461 Treat Highway, Adrian, Michigan 49221 (just north of US-223). Cold patch material to be delivered to asphalt plant located at 9293 Round Lake Highway Manitou Beach, Michigan 49253, approx. one mile north of US-223 All delivery units must be self-unloading. Bidder must specify the name(s) of each proposed freight hauler and each freight hauler must be approved by the Lenawee County Road Commission before acceptance of the bid. All proposals to be received in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the bidder and plainly marked on the outside as to contents. Supplier must be able to supply Lenawee County Road Commission demands as of April 1, 2024. Event Bid description: Proposals will be accepted on Road Commission form Only and are to be in a sealed envelope plainly marked Asphalt Emulsion. During this time period the bids are closed and information regarding the bids is not available. Bids will be awarded at the next regularly scheduled Board Meeting of the Board of County Road Commissioners following the due date for receipt of bids.
