Bid envelopes shall be marked: Sealed Bid for the Stark County 2023 Jail Water Heater Replacement Project Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope written or typed on the forms furnished with the specifications and shall contain the full name of each person, agency/ company, submitting the bid, and shall be signed by an official authorized to execute a contract. The Project shall be completed within 42 calendar days after notice to proceed is received. Questions on this project should be directed to the HEI Engineering Group, Inc., Stacey A. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in form of: (1) a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid; or (2) a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid. Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, or national origin. The Stark County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or ir-regularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid or combination of bids which is deemed most favorable to the County at the time and under the conditions stipulated. The Commissioners further declare that they will award the contract for this project to the lowest and best bid which may not necessarily be the lowest bid. The Specifications contain a Bidder's Profile Form designed to gather certain information that may be considered in this regard. No single factor will control the Board's decision to award, and the Board reserves the right to exercise its full discretion. Estimated Construction Cost: $95,000.00
