Work Must Be Fully Completed and Clean Up of Work Site Finished by End of July as the Fall Recruit Academy Will Require Its Use August 1st The West Metro Training Center requests the removal of current paint / coating from the ceilings, stairwells, window / doorframes and other specific interior and exterior metal surfaces via media blasting. Also requested is the coating of these metal surfaces to slow / prevent further rust development of our 2 class B burn buildings. Firefighting training activities that take place inside these buildings must be taken into consideration to provide the highest quality result. Must include worksite prep and clean up. Work will not involve the fire props themselves or the rooms that house the props, but will include areas of highly sensitive electrical circuitry, electrical conduit, and gas piping. Certain areas will require heat resistance of up to 400 Degrees Fahrenheit. Utilities can be turned off to buildings if requested. All training activities will be suspended during the entirety of time work is being performed. Bonding Requirements - Performance Bond 100 %
