SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Consultant shall provide all such services as are customarily rendered including, but not
limited to, the following:
A. General Services
1) Retain required Subconsultant (i.e., structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscape,
etc.) as part of the design team, if applicable.
2) Coordinate and supervise all activities of the design team.
3) Comply with all current applicable codes.
4) Deliver design documents within the project scope, budget, and schedule.
5) Collaborate with Design Manager (DM) on project design, including stakeholder
presentations as required.
6) Provide District personnel with evidence of conformance to program, budget, and
schedule.
7) Conform to LAUSD Design Guidelines.
8) Attend meetings as required. BACKGROUND
The Los Angeles Unified School District ("LAUSD" or "District") is seeking architectural firms ("Proposer" or "Architect" or "Consultant") to provide architectural services in support of Asset
Management Branch. It is anticipated that approximately 15 to 25 multi-disciplined projects may be developed annually. Modernization projects may include remodels, additions, and new
buildings on existing campuses. Fees shall be negotiated with the selected firm based upon the level of effort required for each project. The District reserves the right to request additional
responses from an Architect pre-qualified through this RFQ to determine whether it is qualified for a specific project. For information or questions regarding this RFQ, contact Yesenia Herrera, LAUSD, Facilities Contracts, at yxh4810@lausd.net and AEcontracts@lausd.net on or before Noon November

Should the proposing Consultant be awarded an Agreement through this Request for Qualifications process Consultant acknowledges that the District has determined to enter into such Agreement with Consultant in reliance, in part, on the veracity of the representations made by Consultant in Consultant's proposal. The District relies specifically on the Consultant's ability to provide the Services with staff qualified as, and otherwise in the manner, represented in Consultant's proposal. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
