Renovation of a municipal facility in Hastings, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 12,850-square-foot municipal facility.
This project includes the interior renovation of 10,850 sf of space inside the Administration Center lower level, and the interior renovation of 2,000 sf of space inside the Judicial Center lower level. The work includes updating existing staff office space to create modern and flexible workspace for staff. Major building mechanical and electrical systems and equipment will remain, to be modified to fit the new space layout, with the exception of replacing the light fixtures. Bids must be submitted only on the bid form supplied in the Request for Bid - Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic bids or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid a certified check or acceptable bidders bond payable to Dakota County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each equal to 100% of the total contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the opening of bids. It is anticipated that the Dakota County Board of Commissioners will consider award of the project on December 19, 2023, and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Prevailing wages are required on this project.
