The City will be selecting a qualified environmental consulting firm to complete the required environmental assessments and remediation of a former gas station located at 100 W. Market Street, Troy Ohio 45373. The City is expected to submit and achieve a Bureau of Underground Storage Tank Regulations (BUSTR) No Further Action (NFA) at project completion. The Subject Property is located at 100 West Market Street, Troy Ohio 45373 (Parcel # D08- 092340) and is comprised of 0.09 acre of commercial land situated south of West Market Street, north of Peters Avenue, and west of Grant Street. Both West Market Street and Peters Avenue provide access to the Subject Property. The east portion of the Subject Property is paved with asphalt and the west portion of the Subject Property is paved with concrete. Two fuel islands and associated underground storage tanks (USTs) occupy the center portion of the Subject Property. The fuel dispensers have been enclosed in a faux stone façade. The former service building associated with the fuel Islands is located on the west adjoining property, Parcel # D08-092320, and is currently occupied by a seasonal ice cream store.
