Project awarded Contract # 1 – General Construction: Hadley Construction Inc., $376,300.92 Contract # 2 – Electrical Construction: Delta Electrical Systems Inc., $36,218.00 Contract # 3 – Plumbing Construction: Linco Construction Inc., $59,500.00 Contract # 4 – HVAC Construction: Aircon Service Co. Inc, $ 7,550.00 Kirby Park PPE ADA Bathroom Project. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap or family status, and that to the greatest extent feasible utilize project area businesses located in or owned in substantial part by project area residents. The W-B OCD and Grant programs shall be in conformance with the grant funding agency requirements for this project. Bid Security, in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond. The City of Wilkes-Barre reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof, and to waive informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Wilkes-Barre for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding this Contract.
