DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The WORK includes demolition and removal of the existing pathways and installation of new 4" reinforced concrete pathways at the 3 following City parks: McDowell Park, La Tercera Park and McNear Park. SITE OF WORK: The site of the WORK is located: at the 3 following parks: McDowell Park, La Tercera Park and McNear Park. The McDowell Park is located at the intersection between Park Ln and McGregor Ave, the La Tercera Park is located at the intersection between Peggy Ln and Baywood Dr, and the McNear Park is located at 1008 G St in the City of Petaluma. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code Section 3300, the CITY has determined that the CONTRACTOR shall possess a valid Class A license at the time that the Contract is awarded. Failure to possess the specified license shall render the Bid as non-responsive and shall act as a bar to award of the Contract to any bidder not possessing said license at the time of award pursuant to labor Code Section 1725.5, subject to limited legal exceptions. The CITY reserves the right to reject all or any part of all bids submitted, waive informalities and irregularities, and will not, to the extent allowed by law, be bound to accept the lowest bid.
