As of April 11, 2025, a consultant has been awarded. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Charlotte County is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for a County Wide Traffic Signal re-timing project of over 50 signals including four (4) arterial corridors. Tasks include, but are not limited to, Traffic Counts, Traffic Signal Re-Timings, Signal Timing Implementation with Fine-Tuning, System Evaluation, Intersection Analysis and Evaluation. All work is to be coordinated through the Charlotte County Public Works Department There will not be a Pre-Submittal Conference for this project. Any questions can be answered by contacting Alisa L. True, CPPB, Senior Contract Specialist at 941.743.1549, or email: Alisa.True@CharlotteCountyFL.gov The County reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals, to waive irregularities and technicalities, and to request resubmission. Any sole response received the first submission date may or may not be rejected by the County, depending on available competition and timely needs of the County. The County shall be the sole judge of the proposal and the resulting agreement that is in its best interest, and its decision shall be final.
