Provide Airport Pavement Management Program Services for the Santa Barbara Airport. Deadline to submit written questions via PlanetBids October 6, 2023. The City of Santa Barbara (City) is requesting Statements of Qualifications from experienced engineering firms to provide professional services for updating the Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) Pavement Management Program (PMP). The scope of work is limited to airfield pavements within the SBA air operations area (AOA). The scope of work is anticipated to be partially funded with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant funds and all contract provisions applicable to FAA AIP funded projects will apply. Primary goals of the project include updated pavement condition index of airfield pavements, pavement condition ratings, roughness and skid resistance of runway pavements, and a capital improvement plan. Liquidated Damages.
In the event of any violation of the clause set forth in paragraph (1) of this clause, the Contractor and any subcontractor responsible therefor shall be liable for the unpaid wages. In addition, such contractor and subcontractor shall be liable to the United States (in the case of work done under contract for the District of Columbia or a territory, to such District or to such territory), for liquidated damages. Such liquidated damages shall be
computed with respect to each individual laborer or mechanic, including watchmen and guards, employed in violation of the clause set forth in paragraph (1) of this clause, in the sum of $10 for each calendar day on which such individual was required or permitted to work in excess of the standard workweek of forty hours without payment of the overtime wages required by the clause set forth in paragraph (1) of this clause.
