Forest Park water system Est. Completion Date: May 31, 2024 The Forest Park Water System Improvement Project includes replacement of Approximately 570 liner feet of water main and associated valves, appurtenances, reconnection of all existing services, and gravel and asphalt surface restoration. The project is scheduled for completion by May 31, 2024. The water system has the capacity of storing approximately 100,000 gallons of water at the top of the subdivision, which gravity feeds the community. Water usage in the month of April typically averages 25,000-30,000 gallons per day; while usage in May typically averages 40,000-60,000 gallons per day. Proper planning, coordination, and timing will be required by the Contractor of this project so that water service disruptions during this project are minimized. This will require communication and careful planning with the Owner and the Owners representatives. Portions of this project will be constructed on easements that are located on private property. Proper planning, coordination, and timing with landowners and the Owner will be required to ensure cooperation. The Work hours will be from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Please include in your Bid a schedule that shows your ability to perform and complete the work by or before the completion date along with a work description the describes the Contractors approach and understanding of the project; including proposed equipment, manpower, and approach to minimize service disruptions to residents. Traffic Control will also be required, and the Contractor is responsible for providing and scheduling all necessary traffic control to safely complete the work.
