Description: Georgetown County, SC is seeking sealed proposals for fire system services to include fire alarm monitoring, fire alarm system inspections, fire sprinkler system inspections, backflow inspections and testing and fire systems maintenance and repair. Hood cleanings & inspections will also be required at one of the current locations. See bid document for a full listing of locations and services and proposal submittal requirements. Georgetown County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and technicalities in the bid process. Question Deadline 11/15/2023 at 3:00 PM ET The initial contract period will be for a one (1) year period. This contract will automatically extend on each anniversary date unless either party elects otherwise. The extensions may be less than, but will not exceed four (4) additional one year periods, for a total potential of five (5) years maximum, after which these services will need to be resolicited. If the contractor elects not to extend on the anniversary date, the contractor must notify the Purchasing Officer of its intention in writing 90 days prior to the anniversary date.
