The City's Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of various City owned buildings. The City maintains approximately 712,000 square feet of facility space and is seeking a qualified pest control contractor to perform preventative maintenance and inspection services, and the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation, incidental and customary work necessary to competently perform the duties set forth in this RFP at the listed facilities and additional sites if required and/or requested. The City of Carlsbad (City) is requesting proposals from licensed pest control contractors (Contractor) to provide monthly pest control maintenance at various City facilities. Service locations include administrative buildings, public recreation buildings, libraries, fire stations and park restrooms. The City intends to select a Contractor who is registered and licensed in the State of California to provide monthly pest control services and to administer the duties and responsibilities set forth in this Request for Proposals (RFP). The Contractor will be required to have licensed staff with demonstrated experience in pest control maintenance and inspection.
