The Contractor shall provide all labour and equipment necessary to load, haul and properly dispose of street debris and other material from various Town's properties. The Contractor shall be responsible for the loading, hauling and disposal of all collected street debris and other materials, in accordance with Environmental Protection Act and Regulations, unless otherwise specified by the Town. All costs associated with the disposal of the debris/material shall be included in the Bidder's unit price. There will be no consideration given to claims for additional compensation for the disposal of the debris/material. All debris/material to be removed shall be sampled and tested by the Town to determine if the material is hazardous. A chemical analysis report will be provided to the Contractor prior to the commencement of any Work. For payment purposes, the weight of material hauled and disposed shall be determined based on scale tickets produced by the disposal site. Scale tickets shall be provided to the Town daily. The weigh tickets must include the following information including, but not limited to: Weight (in metric tonnes), Vehicle Licence #, Time of Day, Date of Disposal and Name of Host Recipient The commencement date for this Contract shall be January 1, 2024.
