York Region District School Board is seeking Proposals for the annual preventative maintenance and and minor repairs at the time of preventative maintenance (inspection) for roof top mechanical heat / cool equipment, and to provide ongoing repairs throughout the school year (unrelated to the preventative maintenance inspection). Please review the document for specific details of the scope of work for this contract. The objective of this proposal is to establish a partnership with a Contractor or Contractors. This partnership will allow the Board to ensure that we are purchasing quality service at a competitive price, while improving management reporting and reducing material and administrative costs. There are approximately 233 locations in the York Region District School Board, with approximately 500 rooftop units which require yearly maintenance and service. This is an estimate only and should not be construed as a guarantee; rather it is shown to provide an indication of the potential of this Contract.
