The Board is seeking bids from Mechanical Contractors for the project to be completed during the summer 2024 at the following school: Area 1 - ÉÉC Saint-Jean, 90 Walton Dr, Aurora Coordination of progress schedules, submittals, use of site, temporary utilities, construction facilities, and construction Work, with progress of Work of other contractors and subcontractors under instructions of Owners Representative. - Removal of (2) existing roof-top units and five (5) existing rooftop exhaust fans. - Separate price for removal of eighteen (18) exhaust fans and associated ductwork in classroom ceilings. - Removal of eighteen (18) unit ventilators and installation of seventeen (17) replacement unit ventilators complete with ductwork and electrical connections and BAS integration. Includes minor ductwork alterations in certain areas. - Supply and installation of (1) new packaged roof-top unit and one (1) new gasfired energy recovery unit complete with roofing, gas piping, ductwork, and controls. - Supply and installation of (3) new rooftop exhaust fans, including ductwork alterations on (1) new fan serving janitor rooms. - Replacement of electric forceflow heaters throughout the school. - Air balancing and duct cleaning. - Electrical work associated with new equipment, BAS, etc. Demolition of existing electrical serving removed abandoned equipment. - Integration of all new and replacement equipment into existing BAS system. - Structural reinforcement of existing joists for new roof mounted ERV-1.
