The City of Santee, hereinafter referred to as "City", is requesting informal bids for provision of all labor, materials, machinery, equipment, tools, supplies, mobility necessary to perform: 1) Fire Alarm continuous monitoring; 2) Fire Alarm annual inspection; 3) Fire Sprinkler Systems quarterly inspections; and 4) As-Needed Repairs for existing Fire Systems at City Hall and other City-owned facilities. Bid Opportunities, requested from Jan Sherar, Procurement Specialist, at jsherar@cityofsanteeca.gov , or picked up in the City's Finance Department. MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING and SITE TOUR: NONE BONDS: Bid Guarantee/Bond: 10% . Payment Bond (Material and Labor) Bond if the contract exceeds $25,000.00: 100% LICENSES, PERMITS and/or CERTIFICATIONS: 1) State of California Contractor's License Classification C-10 & C-16 (at time of bid); Fire Sprinkler Certification - NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 25 Sprinkler Testing (optional); Santee Business License (upon award of contract). SB854 and Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1: Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with State of California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to be able to bid, be awarded and perform this public works contract. PREVAILING WAGE RATES: Yes CERTIFICATES OF INSURANCE: Yes, upon award of Contract.
