Renovation of a water / sewer project in Grandora, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The required deliverables will include the installation of an aerated bubble curtain system. The purpose of the bubble curtain is to exclude small fish from entering the East Side Pump Station pumps and into the M1 Canal. This will allow the M1 Canal to be chemically treated for algae without completing a labor-intensive fish salvage. The bubble curtain system consists of diffuser hoses enclosed around the intake channel. The diffuser hoses are aerated. Torpedo and heat hoses are also required. The hoses are powered by a compressor and a WSA supplied diesel generator. The compressor and manifold will be housed in a enclosure; retrofitting the enclosure is a requirement of the successful respondent. Deliverables will include the supply and install of all required materials, electrical work, tubing placement work and site preparation. Construction shall take place this after the irrigation season, which has now concluded. Work will take place at the East Side Pump Station located at Gardiner Dam. It is located 110 km south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Highway 219
