1) Crack-seal repair of entire runway surface -- to include both turnarounds, the paved surface between the hangars, and the tiedown area.
Crack-seal repair must be in accordance with TxDOT Aviation specifications.
Existing cracks are to be ground out prior to application of crack sealant.
2) Restriping of existing striped areas, striping over existing striping is acceptable.
3) Acceptable bidder must be on TxDOT approved list of contractors. During this pre-bid meeting and site visit, staff will provide an overview of the RFB submittal requirements, communication procedures during the solicitation period, and the project scope
of work. Attendees will be escorted by staff members to the work area for measurements.
Attendance to the pre-bid meeting and site visit is mandatory for prospective bidders.
However, attendees are only required to attend one of the two available time slots to fulfill the attendance requirement. To adhere to a 30-minute schedule, questions will not be answered
during the meeting. Reference Section 9 on the submission of questions.
