The City of Eureka, Missouri, is requesting qualifications from firms to provide professional surveying services on an ongoing as-needed basis in conjunction with various Parks and Recreation projectsincluding existing facilityrenovations,site improvements and development of newfacilities. No minimum amount of work is guaranteed, and the City's relationship with the selected firm shall be non-exclusive so as to allow the City to use other firms as deemed appropriate. Coordination with other professional disciplines and contractors, aswell asregulatoryand permitting agencies may be necessary depending on a particular scope of service. The selected surveying firm must commit to provide servicesto the City in a timelymanner, without unreasonable delays. The selected surveying firm must be located within reasonable proximity to the City of Eureka to better facilitate providing services and visiting sites. Both parties will retain the right to terminate the contractual relationship at their discretion without cause. The selected surveyor will be expected to provide the City with copies of all work product without limitation which shall include reports, analyses, correspondence, plans, drawings and any other documents produced in connection with the consulting relationship with the City in printed form as well as in electronic form, as requested. The City shall own all rights, title and interest, including all copyrights and intellectual property rights, to all documents that are created in connection with the consulting relationship with the City. The selected surveying firm must assign to the City a minimum of one (1) participating staff person who is licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Missouri. Following are minimum submission requirements to receive consideration under this Request for Qualifications: 1. Overview of firm summarizing scope ofservices offered,firm history, equipment and facilities. 2. Summary of staff, as well as biographical and credential information as applicable. 3. If possible, identify the individual(s) within the firm that would be working the most with the City. 4. A minimum of a partial active client list. 5. Summary of insurance coverage the firm has in place. The City will not be responsible for proposals placed in the mail which do not arrive by the deadline. Proposals received before the time of opening will be kept by the City Administrator securely and unopened. Proposalsreceived after the deadline will not be considered. The City of Eureka will evaluate and rank response to the Request for Qualifications based on the established selection criteria. The recommendation to award a contract will be contingent on the successful negotiation of contract terms. If a contract cannot be successfully negotiated with the selected firm at a fee schedule determined to be fair and reasonable, the City reserves that right to negotiate with another proposer. Afterthe successfulfirm isselected, a proposed Ordinance to enter into a contract will be considered by the Board of Aldermen. The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses to this Request for Qualifications.
