As of November 19, 2024, an architect has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Provide Architectural Design and Construction Management Services for the Second Floor Renovations at the Veterans Courthouse Building. This floor is primarily for the use of the County Sheriff, design services shall be intended to provide plans and specifications for improvements including, but not limited to: Removal of interior partitions, all fixtures and finishes including hung ceilings, Complete interior renovation of space, Reconfigure spaces to accommodate new layouts as required, Provide for new interior partitions, finishes, fixtures, and HVAC upgrades as needed, Provide for phone and IT conduits, wiring and connections, and fire suppression as required, Provide for signage, including room numbers and wayfinding signs within the Hall of Records, Provide for the identification and quantification of asbestos, and/or mold to configure the remediation required, (The County does not have any study, report or survey of the asbestos or similar for this building) Performance Period : One (1) year from date of award All questions must be submitted in writing, to the Office of Purchasing via fax to 973-621-5109, no later than end of business, eight (8) business days prior to the deadline for submission of bids.
