The work under this Invitation for Bid (IFB) generally consists of but is not limited to furnishing and delivering special trackwork packages for NJ TRANSIT Contract 22-048X "Long Slip Canal Fill and Rail Enhancement Phase 2". Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, and equipment necessary to fabricate and deliver the special trackwork packages, as listed below, to the point of delivery listed in this document. All work must be in strict conformance with the specifications provided in the Bid Documents. QA Deadline : 12/01/2023 04:00 PM CST All inquiries and requests for clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bid shall be submitted in the space provided in the electronic bidding file. Contractors and subcontractors are also required to comply with the State of New Jersey, Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services Business Registration Certificate requirements (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44). Contractors or Subcontractors shall not engage in the performance of any work, unless the Contractor or Subcontractor is registered with the Department of Treasury Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services, as required. In addition, the requirements of N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.14 et seq. apply to this project. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, regarding Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action rules and regulations. NJ TRANSIT requires bidders utilizing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subcontractors/vendors/suppliers to comply with all aspects of NJ TRANSIT's DBE Program in the use of DBE's. This is a Race Neutral Project.
