Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Bryan, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

All proposals shall be accompanied by a proposal bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total proposal amount payable to the City of Bryan, from a surety company authorized to do business in Texas as a guarantee that the Proposer will enter into a contract and provide required insurance within five (5) business days after receiving a Notice of Intent to Award, and will provide to City all submittals required by this contract within ten (10) business days from Notice of Intent to Award, and will provide to the City executed Performance and Payment bonds within seven (7) business days after City Council Award of Contract. The bond shall be on the forms provided, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit in the State of Texas and approved by the Federal Government, and must bear the impressed seal of the surety company and the name of the Proposer, and be signed by the Proposer and an authorized representative of the surety company. Powers of attorney must be attached to the bid bond. Contact with any City of Bryan employee or official is prohibited without prior written consent from the City Purchasing Supervisor. Failure to observe this requirement may be grounds for rejection of the Proposal. The City has established a target commencement date for construction activities as on April 10th, 2024. The projected completion date is estimated to be 60 working days. The City reserves the right to modify the commencement date, subject to Owner and Contractor availability, phase the construction of the Project, or modify the schedule as needed and determined by the City due to modifications in scope. Location: City Course at Philips Event Center, Hole 6 1929 Country Club Dr, Bryan, TX 77802 The City anticipates the scope of work for the Project to consist of the following responsibilities and the following items: Coordinate all construction activities with the Course Operator to ensure a safe construction site. Prepare and administer the storm water pollution prevention plan, including installation of BMP's. Remove existing bridge and cart path as shown on plans. Construct proposed bridge abutments and wing walls. Furnish and install the pre-engineered bridge structure, including the cast in place deck, and construct the proposed cart path. Clean up site and coordinate with the Course Operator to establish vegetation on all disturbed area. All other appurtenances necessary to complete the Project
