In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 49 of the Texas Water Code, Texas Government Code 2254 (Professional Services Procurement Act), and Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 31 (Uniform Administrative Requirements for Grants and Cooperative Agreements to State and Local Governments), the San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) is requesting qualifications based responses to contract with Professional Engineering Consultant(s) ("Consultant"), which must be a sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, or other legal entity registered to do business in the State of Texas, that includes a Texas Licensed Professional Engineer, with considerable experience in providing professional geotechnical services. Consultant shall provide Professional Geotechnical Services on an on-call basis for specific projects. Services may consist of: 1. GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATIONS Field investigations, soil borings and sampling, laboratory testing, engineering analysis, specific project design or construction recommendations/guidelines, preparation, and submittal of Professional Geotechnical Investigation Report/s 2. SOIL GEOPHYSICAL INVESTIGATIONS Field investigations, deep soil borings and sampling (up to 500 ft), geophysical testing including Gamma, Single Point Resistance (SPR), and Resistivity, engineering analysis, specific project design or construction recommendations/guidelines, preparation, and submittal of Professional Geophysical Investigation Report/s. The deadline for written questions is Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at @ 11:00 A.M. CST. This deadline has been established in order to provide adequate time for SJRA staff to prepare responses to questions from Respondents to the best of their ability in advance of the due date and time. SJRA reserves the right to request clarification or additional information specific to any response after all Responses have been received and the Solicitation due date has passed. Additionally, SJRA reserves the right to accept or reject all or part of any Response, waive any informalities or technical inconsistencies, delete any requirement or specification from the Solicitation, or terminate the Solicitation when deemed to be in Authority's best interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
