The objective ofthis project is to secure and separate the two facilities at the
938 14th Street and 1212 J Street properties, and modify two existing gates that are part of a chain link
fence that surrounds the property to improve the safety for the tenants. Brief Project Description: Yuba County is looking for a properly licensed fencing
contractor to install approximately 710 linear- feet offencing along with three (3) rolling gates and one (1)
double swinging gate, as well as modify two (2) existing chain link fence gates at the 14 Forward
property located at 938 14th Street, and 1212 J Street, in Marysville. This work is subject to payment of
prevailing wages under Labor Code Section 1720 et. seq. and 1770 et. seq., which require the payment of
prevailing wage rates and the performance on certain "public works" and "maintenance" projects, as
defined by the Prevailing Wage Laws, and iftotal compensation is $1,000 or more, contractor agrees, to
fully comply with such Prevailing Wage Laws, as applicable. Background: The Yuba County 14-Forward property is a facility established as a
transition program for the unhoused population. This area is positioned in the southwest portion ofthe
new Tri-County Juvenile Rehabilitation Facility property.
