Proposal No.: RFB FY2023 #184 Question Cuttoff Date & Time 11/10/2023 11:00:00 PM (ET) DOT is seeking an overhead door company to remove existing doors and hardware and install new doors and hardware for four (4) insulated overhead doors and four (4) trolley style openers at the DeWitt Maintenance Garage. DOT Estimated Start Date: After award DOT Estimated End Date: May 30, 2024 This is project is exempt from state sales tax. Davis- Bacon Wages to not apply. Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Julie Brown (see bid contract information) any and all questions related to this project included during a site visit are to be submitted to Julie Brown in writing preferably through the ION wave Bid system. (See the cut off period for question submissions and Site Visit scheduling indicated below) One contract will be awarded for all items in the form of a Purchase Order. All items are tied. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
