The City of Niles is interested in obtaining proposals from qualified transmission owners and operators for the purchase of the Citys existing Central Substation 138 kV facilities. Preference will be given to proposals under which the City would have the ability to operate the 138 kV substation equipment. It shall be the responsibility of the purchaser to provide, at their cost, all maintenance, repair, operation (where applicable), NERC reporting, and annual preventive maintenance services for the substation assets/facilities. The City of Niles expressly reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or portions of them, to waive irregularities, informalities, and technicalities, at any time or in any manner considered in the Citys best interest.
