Mission Boulevard Transit Signal Priority Project. Notice is hereby given that the alameda-contra costa transit district ac transit or district is requesting firm fixed price bids from qualified, responsive, and responsible firms for implementing a transit signal priority tsp system and signal coordination along the mission boulevard corridor between the hayward bart and union city bart stations, as well as close the gap in the existing adaptive signal control system in the cities of hayward and union city. The work shall include furnishing all permits, all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and services as defined in this invitation for bid ifp and the accompanying bid package (technical specifications, drawings and attachments Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bidder's Bond made payable to AC Transit, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Bidder's Grand Total Bid Price. AC Transit specifically reserves the right to not award the Contract after the opening of bids. License and Certification. Firms bidding as a prime Contractor must possess a valid California Contractors State License Board Electrical Class "C-10" at the time of bid opening and throughout the contract term. The Contractor will also be required to ensure that all subcontractors working on this project are holding valid licenses suitable for their trade. Questions will be taken until 2:00 pm P.T. on 13 November 2023.
