inquiries about this project should be made to the Public Works Engineer's office st karj@ktn-ak.us Engineers Estimate Range: $1,000,000 - $2,5000,000 City of Ketchikan is requesting sealed bids for the Schoenbar Culvert Rehabilitation, Contract No. 23-26 consisting of furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and other facilities necessary to complete the Work set forth in the Contract Drawings and Specifications, and terms of the Contract successfully. The Work that is presented in the Bid Proposal for this Contract generally consists of the rehabilitation of the 8' x 12' x 472' multi-plate arch corrugated metal culvert that conveys the flow of Schoenbar Creek, including dewatering, creek bypass, reconstruction of concrete headwall, injection grouting, invert repair and installation of a spray applied pipe lining system; complying with all State and Federal permits and coordinating work with the Owner. This project has been funded wholly or in part by the United States Environmental Protection Agency under assistance agreement CG-02J26301-0 to City of Ketchikan and Federal Fiscal Funds. Trenchless Rehabilitation Contractors or Subcontractors shall be pre-qualified prior to time of bidding. In order to prequalify the contractor shall submit the prequalification form including all attachments, enclosures and continuation pages electronically to the Clerk's office at no later than close of business on November 15th, 2023. Special Requirements: Minority Owned Businesses (MBEs) and Women Owned Businesses (WBEs) are encouraged to respond.
