Cowlitz County is soliciting bids from qualified parties interested in paying fixed fees to Cowlitz County in return for the right to remove Mt. St. Helen's ash and dredged sand material from County-owned property located at 240 Cook Ferry Road. Bidders must commit to the removal of a minimum of 150,000 cubic yards of dredge spoils. One agreement will be awarded to the party with the highest bid price. ESTIMATED TIME PERIOD FOR CONTRACT: January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2025. The County reserves the right to extend the contract for one (1) additional one-year period at the sole discretion of the County to allow for the completion of excavation activities. BID GUARANTEE in the amount of 5% of the total bid (unit bid price x 150,000 cubic yards) is required with bid submission. Question & answer period ends November 15, 2023
