The City of Ocean Springs seeks proposals from qualified Respondents interested in providing municipal solid waste services. Municipal solid waste services include but are not limited to, rubbish, refuse, garbage, recycling, and other waste collection, haul, and disposal services. Selection shall be made from qualified proposals as determined by the City. The City reserves the right to amend and/or negotiate the terms of a contract with one or more of the qualified proposers, if any. Bid submission Info : Proposals that are mailed shall be addressed to the City of Ocean Springs c/o City Clerk, PO BOX 1800,1018 Porter Avenue, Ocean Springs, MS 39566-1800. Request for proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the company name, address, and item being considered as "SOLID WASTE SERVICES" written on the outside of the envelope. The location of the services will be within the boundaries of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Such negotiations are not limited to the terms in the proposal(s). To perform public work, the successful proposer shall, as applicable, hold or obtain a contractor's and business licenses, and Certificate of Insurance as required by the City or state statutes. The right is reserved to reject all proposals or any proposal not conforming to the intent and purpose of the request.
