Renovation of a residential development in Long Lake, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Kickerville Basement Wall Mold Remediation It is the intent of this project to provide labor and materials for the remediation of mold and water damage of approximately 300 square feet at the 271 Kickerville Road IRA in Long Lake, NY. The contractor chosen for this project is to have a valid mold remediation license from NYS DOL to perform this type of work and be able to provide documentation of said qualifications. Contractor shall follow all applicable regulations and guidelines in completing the work. 1. Install recommended containment to prevent contamination of surrounding areas. 2. Areas to be cleaned are the WALLS in basement areas. 3. Utilize negative air HEPA filter equipped exhaust fans. 4. Any vacuuming should be done with HEPA filter equipped machines. 5. Remove mold contaminated and water-stained drywall from walls. 6. Sanitize walls and floors to prevent future mold growth. 7. Apply waterproof sealer/paint to block walls. 8. All debris shall be removed from site on a daily basis. 9. Ensure debris is removed in sealed plastic bags. 10. Provide air sampling and ensure that the area is free of any mold contaminants. OPWDD intends to award the project to the most responsible and responsive business that provides the lowest cost. Contract term: Work to be completed within 30 days of award.
