The project is planned to be complete July 2024 One or more purchase orders may be issued for the FURNITURE FIXTURES AND EQUIPMENT hereunder. This will be a one time purchase. Delivery and Completion - The school furniture and equipment specified herein shall be delivered FOB Destination, with the Successful Bidder, at its own expense, being fully insured for Risk of LOSS for all furniture and equipment until acceptance of same by the City of Waltham. Delivery and installation to begin on 01 May 2024 with all work completed by 05 July 2024. All delivery and installation schedules are subject to change depending on the General Contractor's work completion. Each bidder must sign and submit with its Bid, Compliance forms certifying that they are in compliance with all requirements of MA Public Bidding Laws at time the awarding of contract. Bid Surety - A 5% Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Treasurer's Check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, payable to the City of Waltham shall be returned within thirty (30) days to all unsuccessful bidders. The Bid Security of each successful bidder shall be retained by the City until such time as fully executed contracts have been submitted. The City will reject any and all bids in accordance with the above referenced General Laws. In addition, the City reserves the right to waive minor informalities in any or all bids, or to reject any or all bids (in whole or in part) if it be in the public interest to do so.
