The Holiday Shores Phase 1A Pedestrian and Drainage Improvements project is located along Forest Shore Drive and Shore Drive, north of US Hwy 98, in Miramar Beach, Florida. Phase1 of this project includes the construction of an 8' wide concrete sidewalk within the Forest Shore Drive right-of-way beginning at US Hwy 98 and terminating at Shore Drive. In conjunction with the pedestrian improvements, Forest Shore drive will be milled, resurfaced, and restriped within the project limits. Minor earthwork, swale construction, storm drain installation, and sodding will be required within the right of way limits County reserves the right to reject bids from bidders whose Dun & Bradstreet Comprehensive Report, past work performance with the County and other governmental agencies, including timeliness of completion of projects and history of payment to subcontractors or materialmen are deemed by the County to be unsatisfactory Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in an amount of five percent (5%) of the Bidder's base bid price made payable to Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, and in the form of a certified bank check or a Bid Bond on the form attached, issued by a surety authorized to conduct business in the State of Florida and having an A. M. Best rating of VI-A or better and who is listed on the United States Treasury Department's T-list as acceptable to issue bonds for the applicable dollar amount.
