Paving for a road / highway in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for paving for a road / highway.
The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, labor, tools, skills, equipment, and incidentals for the construction of the aforementioned project. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a cashiers check or certified check on a duly organized bank made payable to the City of Marietta or a bid bond executed by the bidder and surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Georgia, in the sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the base bid. One contract will be awarded covering all the work, and the time for completion shall be 120 calendar days for the base bid items. All questions concerning the project shall be addressed to Shelly Drewry, (770) 794-5697, e-mail SDrewry@mariettaga.gov Questions will not be responded to after Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 5:00 PM. Answers will be provided and shared with all bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and or all bids, to waive irregularities and technicalities, award the contract in the best interest of the City of Marietta or to request re-bid. The City reserves the right to accept all or any part of the bid and to increase or decrease quantities to meet additional or reduced requirements of the City.
