The Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority is requesting pre-qualification packages from contractors for future Ductile Iron Pipe water main construction projects. Previously qualified contractors will also be required to submit their qualifications. All pipeline contractors must be pre-qualified to bid on CCMWA pipeline construction projects before the date of the first public advertisement. People Contractors will be pre-qualified for size and Ductile Iron Pipe materials. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all applications for pre-qualification, to waive informalities and to read advertise. The pre-qualification requirements are based on pipe laying experience with ductile iron pipe along with personnel and financial records (1 Separately Sealed Copy). Information submitted by the contractor will be reviewed by the Authority's Engineering, Transmission and Finance staff. If pre-qualification requirements are satisfactorily met, a recommendation will be made to the Water Authority Board for pre-qualification status.
