Contract Term
Services to be provided under this Request for Proposals (RFP) are outlined under Section V, Scope of Work. The Contract period will be for a minimum of five (5) years from the effective date of the agreement. This RFP does not commit the County to award a contract. The County reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals if it is in the best interest of the County to do so. The County also reserves the right to terminate this RFP process at any time The Department of Public Works - Special Districts (Department) administers all Board Governed Districts and Zones providing a variety of municipal services. Districts are comprised and established in County
Service Areas (CSA's) and Zones. The Department also manages, operates and maintains two separate recreation and park districts, the Bloomington Recreation and Park District and Big Bear Valley Recreation and Park District. Services include parks and recreation, water districts, sewer districts, television translator districts, road districts, cemetery districts, street lighting, landscape districts, detention basins, and a dam. The Department also administers an animal park (zoo), two open space habitat and conservation districts and offers design, engineering and construction management support to several other County Departments and their facilities. A complete list of Department facilities are shown in Exhibit C.
