Contractor to furnish all materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary to provide full preventative maintenance and repair services on the equipment described in Exhibit A of this IFB. Services shall be provided at 1600 Exposition Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95815. Services shall be provided at 1600 Exposition Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95815 on the grounds of California Exposition & State Fair (Cal Expo). SB and DVBE companies are encouraged to bid. Proposed Award Date (tentative) November 17, 2023 Term of this agreement is for five (5) years beginning on January 1, 2024, or upon contract approval, and continuing through December 31, 2028. Pursuant to Labor Code, Section 1770, the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and a general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work for each craft required for execution of the Contract. a. Contractor must possess and maintain, at all times during the term of this Agreement, a valid Class C-11, Elevator Contractor license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board. b. All services shall be performed by a journeyman level mechanic as a minimum. Apprentices and helpers may not work alone and must be supervised by a certified elevator mechanic and/or field superintendent and may assist elevator mechanic in electrical and mechanical installation, repair, or service operations. c. Technicians providing services must be regularly employed by the Contractor. d. In the event that Cal Expo becomes dissatisfied with the performance of any persons assigned to perform the services under this contract, Contractor agrees, upon request from Cal Expo's Contract Administrator or Cal Expo's Designated Representative, to assign other qualified personnel to perform these services
