Site work and new construction of a civil project in Pembroke, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of October 21 2025 bids were rejected, project was cancelled. Summary : The work consists of the following but is not limited to the replacement of the existing wastewater treatment plant. Installation of a new steel packaged wastewater treatment plant and associated treatment processes including a disinfection reactor, post aeration tank, blowers, manholes, and pump stations. The plant will install a new control building with associated electrical improvement and process controls. The existing control building will remain for use as a lab for required monitoring & testing and will be retrofitted with a bathroom for plant operators to use while on site. The existing emergency generator will be replaced. Throughout the project plans and specifications, specific equipment is listed. The design was based on this equipment. However, an engineer approved equal may be substituted during the submittal phase. Any requests to substitute the main packaged plant must be made prior to submission of bid. Provide all work complete and in accordance with the Plans and Specifications.
