Site work for a civil project in Schuler, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Work involves the installation of a new bridge culvert to replace Bridge File #74297 located 3.4 km west of Schuler, Alberta (SW7-16-01-W4), with a new 2.4m dia. Poly Coated Corrugated Steel Pipe (CSP) culvert by 32 m invert length at 30-degree LHF skew. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Traffic accommodation Site isolation and care of water (if required), including Fish Capture and TSS testing Removal and disposal of the existing bridge file culvert Excavation Supply and Assembly of the new bridge file culvert Backfill including common (and potentially borrow) and granular backfill material Heavy rock riprap erosion protection including type B geotextile filter fabric Roadway work, including Granular Base Course and Gravel Surfacing Permanent environmental protection devices Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor must supply all materials necessary to complete the Work. A complete job is called for, therefore any labour, material, equipment, tool or incidental item not specifically mentioned, but necessary for completeness will be considered incidental to the Work, and no separate or additional payment will be made.
