Renovation of a municipal facility in Yorktown Heights, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Yorktown is soliciting proposals for replacing a Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit. This project is located at 2279 Crompond Road, Yorktown Heights, New York 10598 (located behind Yorktown Police Department. This project will entail the removal and replacement of 1 existing HVAC system with new heat pumps matched in size. All work will comply with all codes and regulations including but not limited to, the NYS Building Code, NYS Mechanical Code, NYS Electrical Code, NFPA. This project will be inspected by the Yorktown Building Department. A building permit will be required. Minimum wage rates for this project are predetermined by the NYS Department of Labor. A copy of such minimum wage rates is on file at the Town Clerk's Office 363 Underhill Avenue, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598; copies of which are available to any interested party on request. The Town is required to provide notice to the Department of Labor of any public work contract subject to prevailing wages. Contractor shall complete the services within forty-five (45) calendar days of receiving notice from the Town of acceptance of the Contractor's proposal.
