A certified check shall be required to be filed with each quotation, in a sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the quotation, however, a bond maybe be submitted in lieu of a certified check if the bond is secured by a surety having its principal place of business in the State of Indiana. A bond shall be required to be filed with each quotation of a person, form or corporation having its principal place of business in the State of Indiana, and shall make the bond payable to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Floyd, in a specific dollar sum equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the quotation. The quotations shall cover the calendar year 2024. The Board of Commissioners of the County of Floyd reserves the right to reject any and all quotations. Quotations mailed to the County Commissioners MUST be sent REGISTERED or CERTIFIED MAIL or they may be brought to the Commissioner's Office, PineView Government Center, 2524 Corydon Pike Suite 204, New Albany, IN 47150, on or before the time set above.
