Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Independence, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The City of Independence is soliciting bids from qualified bidders for Raymond, Harkless to Mills Storm Drainage Improvements for the Municipal Services Department. This contract provides for, but is not limited to, installing new storm sewer in the general area of S. Raymond Street to the intersection of E. Sea Avenue, installing storm sewer along E. Sea Avenue from S. Raymond Street to S. Savage Street., installing storm sewer along Savage Street, installing a gabion lined channel in the backyards of the houses between S. Savage Street and Saville street, and installing a new RCB at the downstream end of the channel. The project also includes realignment of sanitary sewer main and associated lateral transfers. This project includes approximately 1,259 linear feet of 15" to 48" HDPE storm sewer, 137 linear feet of reinforced concrete box culvert, 188 cubic yards of gabion basket, 144 linear feet of 12" pvc sanitary sewer main, 340 linear feet of sanitary lateral modification, and all related utility, demolition, excavation, embankment, grading, street, curb, driveways, erosion control, and landscape work.
