The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) intends to use the results of this RFP to select a qualified mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) firm to assist with the analysis/design and potential deployment of a community geothermal system in Connecticut. Question Deadline 11/16/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Written questions may be submitted via email to the listed RFP contact, Katrina Vallett DEEP is soliciting proposals for a MEP firm to assist the Project Team, under the supervision of UConn, to complete design and analysis work to create a viable and feasible community geothermal system that will be competitive for Phase II of DOE funding for implementation. The geothermal system must be designed as if funding for implementation during Phase II is guaranteed, despite the competitive nature of the grant's Phase II.
