Renovation of a municipal facility in Oregon, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Holt County Sheriff's Office is seeking vendor bids for the following projects: Plumbing Installation - Replacing plumbing in all 3 jail cell units, provide and install 3 replacement combination sink/toilets and 3 push button showers for the jail cells, demolition of all plumbing and fixture related work, upsize of plumbing from 1-1/4" to 2", relocation of the dishwasher and kitchen sink, addition of 5 0.75-ton PTAC units, and building out the ceiling to cover all exposed horizontal piping General Construction - Repair the ceiling, wall, and staircase system, enlarge storage room, add kitchen cabinets, relocate dishwasher, replacement of flooring, and adding pantry shelving. The Commission has the right to accept or Reject any or all bids: All bidders and successful contractors and subcontractors are required to comply with the State of Missouri's immigration laws as enacted and revised from time to time, including compliance with the certification of the legal employment status of all workers utilized on the public works project by the contractor and by any subcontractors encompassed by the bid and the resulting contract after award. Such compliance shall also include compliance with the State mandate for OSHA-type safety and health training for all workers used on the public works project regardless of by whom they are employed.
