Tellepsen Builders, L.P., serving as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Texas A&M University System, and in accordance with Texas Government Code 2269, will receive proposals from qualified subcontractors and vendor trades for the STEM Education Center at RELLIS Campus . Construction Documents are separated into two packages. Bid Package 1 will contain the purchasing of pad mounted transformer, structural concrete, and site foundation work with underground utilities. The initial BP1 scopes for award include the following trades: Foundation Earthwork, Utilities, SWPPP, Cast-In Place Concrete, Below Grade waterproofing & Electrical. The balance of work shown in Bid Package 1 and Bid Package 2 will be submitted for budget and awarded in the future. The project is located on the RELLIS campus, 1425 Bryan Road, Bryan, Texas 77807. This project consists of a new 52,969 sf (approximately) Research Building for Science, Math & Technology. Facility is a three-story building, steel framed construction with lab spaces, Digital & Physical Exploratorium, creative workspace areas and offices. Building skin consists of brick and stone veneer, curtain wall and metal panels. The site work includes concrete paving and site pavers with new storm and utilities. All proposals will be held open for 90 calendar days from bid date.
