Site work for a civil project in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of installing approximately 2,851 lineal feet of cured-in-place pipe in select storm sewers and removing and installing approximately 817 lineal feet of storm sewers to rehabilitate the sewer condition. Restoring site disturbance, protecting existing utilities, managing traffic, bypass pumping, and all associated items are required to accomplish the work. Before plans and specifications may be obtained, contractors must be pre-qualified. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
