Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project work consists of inspecting, repairing, and replacing storm drainage infrastructure at locations as directed by the Owner's Representative. Work will include new storm sewer pipe, manholes, inlets, curedin-place pipe lining, curb and gutter, slope stabilization, retaining walls, and erosion control practices. Site restoration shall include pavement replacement, topsoil placement, sodding, seeding, fertilizing, and mulching at locations as directed by the Owner's Representative. All proposals must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract, with sureties, to be approved by the City Engineer. Before plans and specifications may be obtained, contractors must be pre-qualified. Compliance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act is required under this contract. The City of Peoria reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals.
