Work of this Contract comprises of the remediation of the Rural Municipality of Stanley - Manitoba EMO Sites #208, #217, #248, and #249. The overall work will consist of installing rockfill riprap material for each of the following sites: Site #208 consists of remediation of slope movements and erosional damage along the northern and southern side slopes of the Reinland Drain west of Road 22W. The total length of Site #208 is 115 m. Site #217 consists of remediation of the erosional damage along the toe of the northern and southern side slopes of the drain into Lake Minnewasta. The total length of Site #217 is 80 m. Site #248 consists of remediation of the slope movements and erosional damage along the toe of the southern side slope of the Reinland Drain east of Road 20W. The total length of Site #248 is 190 m. Site #249 consists of remediation of slope movements and erosional damage along the toe of the northern and southern side slopes of the drain into Thornhill Coulee. The total length of Site #249 is 90 m. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond and an Agreement to Bond, issued by a Surety Company licensed to conduct business in Canada, and acceptable to the Owner. The Bid Bond shall be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of total bid price. The Bid Bond shall be valid for a period of not less than sixty (60) days from the date of tender. A performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and A labour and materials bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price. Commercial general insurance liability insurance, in the amount of at least five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) inclusive, with the Owner added as an additional insured, with a cross-liability clause, such liability policy to also contain contractual liability, unlicensed motor vehicle liability, non-owned automobile liability, broad form property damage cover and products and completed operations, to remain in place at all times during the performance of the Work and throughout the warranty period.
