Site work and new construction of a day care center in Elm Creek, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,631-square-foot, one-story above grade day care center; and for site work for a day care center.
All work shall conform to the latest editions of the Manitoba Building Code, Canadian Electrical Code, Canadian Plumbing Code, and is as shown on the drawings and as noted below: Construction Notes: 1. Supply of furniture shall not be included in this contract. 2. All appliances (fridges, range, dishwasher, laundry) shall be included as an optional extra price for the supply and installation of said appliances. 3. All new items shall be commercial grade, unless otherwise noted. A Bid Bond in the amount not less than 10% of the bid price, along with a consent of Surety shall accompany the tender submittals. The successful bidder will be required to obtain both a Labour and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price, and a Performance Bond in the amount of 50% of the Contract Price. Work on the building shall be completed and a full occupancy permit shall be in place by June 30th, 2025. All exterior landscaping and site work must be completed by this date as well.
